Ocean is the birthplace of life, but now we dump plastic in it. The theme of 2018 World Environment Day is Beat Plastic Pollution, which means dealing with the plastic problem together. Recently UNEP joined hands with Chinese goodwill ambassadors to launch the Cleaning Ocean program. According to UN's latest statistics, the annual output of plastic reaches to over 0.3 billion tons, and half of it is disposable. If we don't take action now, the plastic will take over ocean. In fact, Ocean has no boundary, and it reaches every corner of our earth. Protecting ocean is very urgent, and we must build a clean ocean for ocean creatures.
